Minotauro (Minotaur) is a Portuguese publishing project created in 2009, aiming to annually publish 8 to 10 books of contemporary foreign fiction, favoring authors unknown to the Portuguese readers.
The goal was to create something viewy yet distinct, able to convey graphically the care taken in the selection of published titles.To differentiate within the Portuguese book cover design panorama, adopting an apparent classical look turned out to be the bolder approach. The end result also contributes to a sense of quality for the collection, something to be enjoyed and collected by readers.

The selection is done by Antonio Sáez Delgado and the series was coordinated by Pedro Bernardo, from the Almedina Publishing Group.
